Rooted in the tenets of brutalist architecture, the BRUTALIST CANDELABRA embraces the expressive quality of raw concrete cast in minimal, bold geometry; and continues artist April Hannah’s exploration of infinite systems generated by the repetition of an essential form. Intended to elicit child-like curiosity, the interlocking structure may be assembled in an endless array of configurations.
Each handcrafted set consists of four modular, concrete pieces finished with beeswax. Construct an expansively dramatic tablescape by combining several sets. The resulting interactive, modernist sculpture may be left as is or animated with straight or taper candles (sold separately).

One set consists of the following 4 pieces:
2-square: 2.25” H x 5.25” W x .75” D
3-square: 2.25” H x 8.25” W x .75” D
4-square: 2.25” H x 11.25” W x .75” D
5-square: 2.25” H x 14.25” W x .75” D
NOTE: Circular holes are .8125” DIA (13/16”) to fit straight or taper candle with a base diameter greater than .8" (sold separately). For a perfect fit, the bottom of the candle may need to be shaved slightly with a sharp blade.
Slight variations in color and texture are inherit in concrete and should be expected.
MAINTENANCE: Gently clean with a soft, damp cloth; wax drippings may be gently scraped off with a straight plastic edge, so as not to scratch the concrete. The Brutalist Candelabra is meant to age with time and use – candle drippings may slightly darken the concrete finish. We believe this adds character and beauty.
REFUNDS/RETURNS: Each Brutalist Candelabra is made to order. Once an order is placed it may not be canceled. Refunds will only be issued if your candelabra has been damaged during shipment. Please inspect your package upon delivery and contact us with any damage issues within 24 hours of receipt.
